My mum makes me sandwhiches for lunch and they are always fattning, she dosnt think so when i tell her bu they are!! they filled with butter and other bad stuff. also she says i have to have cereal for breakfest but guess what the only cereals in the house are junk fulled with sugar. she gives me 1 pound for a drink so I can use that to buy food which is decent, in the mornings I pretend to have cereal and just have a glass of milk and fruit. I do weights and sit ups and push ups etc so what foods are low in fat and saturated fats and calories but high in protein. answer in context with the question please

chicken & tuna

Ask your mom for Tuna or Chicken sandwiches, skip the mayo, add the rest of the stuff
Or if you must have mayo for tuna, just add a little. Won't hurt if it's just a bit.
Start going shopping with your mom, to ensure you get the good stuff you want and start eating breakfast.
Ask mom for oatmeal if she'll make it for you in the a.m. lots of carbs, but your body needs it, you're still young.

Good for you! Your post makes me want to listen to my daughter more about her food choices..... I think she wants to be a vegetarian, but doesn't know where to start. Maybe I'll hook her up with a family member who is. Sometimes you kids know more than we give you credit for! Thanks!

Fish, chicken and eggs would be your best bet. Also, cooked dried beans and rice/or other white carb will give you a complete protein. You can invest in protein powder (whey protein) and mix it in your milk in the AM and get about 22 grams of protein. Godloveya

skinless chicken, beef, fish, eggs, and low fat dairy products are your best bet. why don't you go shopping with your mum and pop stuff in the trolley, porridge is a good breakfast that's filling, skimmed or semi-skimmed milk, wholemeal bread, low fat spread. you're right that sugary cereals and butter and such are not good for you and i doubt she'll change her shopping habits but if your there you can always sneak a few things in! good luck
