feelings of sluggishness? I at times can feel tired, especially after confining myself to healthy dishes, which is weird and actually annoying since I'm trying to lose some winter fat. If I start feeling excessively tired (in the past, I worked at desk jobs so I would lol.. end up closing my eyes during the mid afternoon.. my theory is that I need to be up and about to get my circulation going; plus, I need to go to sleep at an earlier hour), what healthy energy boosting foods can I intake, to replace potato chips and such? I need to cut down on sugar because I am realizing that I have too much of it on a daily basis, and I read somewhere, that much of it impedes fat loss, if that's your aim.

Nuts are good option. Dried fruit tends to have a lot of sugar in it. You could also try veggies & dip. I used to have a desk/computer job and I would always stand up while I was working. That at least made me feel like I wasn't sitting on my behind all day.
