If you watch what you are eating, then you are dieting. We all have diets, we just might not be conscious of it. What you seem to want to do is a lifestyle change... PERFECT! That's really the way to go. Look at your unhealthy diet and exercise habits - the ones that made you gain weight - and change them for healthy ones. Once you do that, the weight will come off. And, since you've changed your habits, you never go "off" a diet, but just maintain your new improved lifestyle. The weight will STAY off this way.

Good luck!

Positive results. You dont need to do a strict diet to obtain results. The exersice will burn body fat and help to build muscle. Eating healthy gives your body the energy and the things required to built muscle, like protein. Have fun, no one likes the strict diet thing, it is not fun and who actually stays with a diet that they dont enjoy! No one! Good health to you and good luck.

i think you'd be doing exactly the right thing, there's nothing worse than depriving yourself of food just to lose the weight then putting it all back on again when you start eating 'normal' food! i would say to cut back on carbs and go for the protein, fresh fruit and veg and regular exercises
