I live in Germany and make my own home made dog food for my bullmastiff. I have always been told to avoid pork products because they are processed different out here. I was wondering though, can my dog eat the pork if it is thoroughly cooked or boiled?

As long as the pork is human quality there should be no problem with possible parasite problems.

You should avoid pork becaues it is more likely to have bacteria in it and reproduce infecting your dog. Don't risk it.

You really shouldn't feed your dog people food. They'll never want to eat their dog food if you do this...but if you want to cook for your dog, you should ask your vet
