Homeschooling *is* free. You can get books at the library, find curricula online, contact your local homeschooling group and find resources there.
Spend some time finding resources, you'll find it's a lot easier and cheaper than you imagine. We have gotten all of my son's math books through the library system and just renewed until we were finished. Same for spelling, reading, science and history.

i'm not understanding what you mean by not affording it. homeschool is very inexpensive if you use your imagination. for starters wonderful things have been done with the simple use of the public library. everyday could be an adventure if you pick a subject a day and spend that day focused and dedicated. i really cant answer your question without knowing 1. will you be homeschooling yourself? 2. what grade are you in? 3. what subjects are you strong in? otherwise you or your parents can create a curriculum that suits you based on common sense and all the materials your local library offers. find out what you are required to know in each subject for each year. and then that will be your goal. for example if you have to read 4 novels a year, are suppose to start algebra, natural science, etc. then find the text books available to you at either barnes and noble or even the library. good luck! and email me if you have more questions.

Hey! I'm home schooled too :) I have been for 6 years, I'm in 8th grade. And I LOVE IT!! I belong to a Christian Co-op( it's a place where home schooled children come and their mom's teach several classes for different age groups and it's only once a week, we get homework and I have TONS of friends from there.) it's awesome being home schooled, freedom, you can eat whenever! ha, stay in your p.j.s all day! It's SO COOL! :D I hate when people say we don't get enough social, because they are WAY wrong!, we get more social and closer relationships with your fam.
Please choose home school, there are many people out there willing to help you, just search the web!

Home schooling should be Government funded and should not cost any more than going to a regular school. Talk to the principal at the school (or guidance counselor), they'll give you the information you need to apply for the program.
Most times, they will lend you a computer to continue studies online and there should be no additional cost for books or it should be the same or less than school fees paid each year.

As people have mentioned above, homeschooling is completely free. I am a homeschooler myself and have been for two years. All you need to do is contact your local school district and you will receive all the information you need. You will get full credit for your work and it will be the same grading as if you went to public school.

I went to B.O.S.S. (buckeye online school for success) I liked it alot. It was free you just pay for your internet and they reimburse you every 3 months. I live in east liverpool ohio. that is where it is. if you go to www.go2boss.com they will have links for you to sign up or find one in your area.

home schooling is free, just like public school. you have to find a place in your area for a home schooling program. but i don't recommened it. i was home schooled for 3 years. and i hated it. you get really lazy too, so now in college it's really hard for me to study and get my homework done. plus there is absolutely no social life. unless if your in some christian school or whatever.
