Ephesians 6:1-4 - Children, obey your parents because you belong to the lord, for this is the right thing to do. "Honor your father and mother". This is the first of the Ten Commandments that end with a promise, If you honor your father and mother, " you will live a long life, full of blessing."And a word to you fathers( which i personally think also applies to mothers).Don't make your children angry by the way your treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction approved by the lord.

God doesn't "require" anything from me or I wouldn't have been graced wiith free will. I believe that if I seek knowledge of God's will and power to carry it out then my actions will be more in line with a good life and much joy results from living a good ife. There is nothing more conducive to a good nights sleep than a clean conscience.

First and foremost the parents has the responsibility to be obedient to God's will. If the parent is faithful and submissive to God's will then they will teach their children to be this way also.

Nothing. God gave all of us free will. But in order to be a Child of God at any age, Jesus said "Follow me, I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, except thru Me"

husband are head of his wife, husband should love his wife just as the Christ also loved the congregation and delivered up himself for it. husband are to be loving his wife as he loves himself. wife's are to be in subjection to their husbands as to the Lord. children are to be obedient to your parents in union with the lord. to honor your father and your mother. and the one children always use. is Ephesians 6 verse 4 fathers do not be irritating your children, but go on bringing them up in the discipline and mental regulating of Jehovah

Parents = provoke not your child unto wrath

I would not listen to him. He has been a miserable father to his children. He even killed (sacrifice is such a poor euphemism) his own son.
