I do not think it would be a good idea to put your dog through all of the pain and responsibility of taking care of 8 little pups. On top of that, after all of her hard work, she's to be separated cruelly from her little babies. You would not even make that much money breeding for 4 years, it's just not a good idea for a hobby.

If you are not sure wither to breed her you probibaly should not do anythig until you have made up your mind bear in mind that pups are a lot of work you will have to get up and feed them every 2 hours if mum does not take to the or doesnt produce enough milk, also they are not alowed out for 10-12 weeks until they have all had there vaccinations, im sure it your giving this thought then you will also worry about who is going to be giving these pups a new home concidering that i know of a dog having 13 pups or only having 1 big pup and having to be c - sectioned which cost a fortune.
Why dont you ask your local vet for advice.

Best of luck for whatever you decide, staffies are great dogs.

No absolutely not!!! The burden of all the work is on you dear. Just because your boss whats it doesn't make it the right thing to do. If you have never gone thru the whole mating and then whelping process then you better start to read about it and then think about it. It's not a easy job taking care of a pregnant dog or helping her in the birthing process or raising the pups once they are here. Plus it's not cheep to bring pups into the world either.
Tell your boss no and in a manner that he understands so he will not ask again. Sounds like he doesn't have a clue either!!!!

No.

Breeding can cause serious health problems or even death for a female. Also unless both her and the father are KC registered the pups won't be able to be either.

This will mean they will be worth far less and may be within the price range of evil little chavs who will buy them then be horrible to them and train them as fighting and attack dogs.

Do your dog a favour and get her spayed instead.

What are the dogs results for L-2-HGA & HC? (not to mention all the other health testing)
How many faults have both dogs got? (they will be passed on to the pups)
Are they both Kennel Club registered?
If you girl dies during whelp, have you got the time to hand feed 6 or more pups every 3 hours?
Do you know how much it costs for a vet to give your girl a ceasarian at 3am?
If your lucky enough for nothing to go wrong, You will have to find suitable homes for you pups. What if you can't?

I breed my Great Dane, she was a lovely dog. Wish i hadnt because she wouldnt feed her pups, she had ten of them so it cost us a fortune to feed them with special milk. The vet fees were extorsionate as she suffered pre-eclamsia. After struggling to find good homes for the pups, she became very aggressive and having a litter really changed her personality.

If you do decide to breed her make sure that the male's owner takes some responsiblity for the vet bills...what if something goes wrong and she needs a c-section? Who's going to pay for the testing that's sometimes involved? Pregnancy tests, x-rays, litter exams...? What if one of the puppies won't eat...who will take care of it? Breeding can become extremely expensive both before and after. and can also require a big time commitment as well. Be sure you are prepared for all of this before you get into it.

No don't do it. If you are not doing for the money it can have adverse health affects on your female. Plus normally you would have to pay him to use the male and you would keep all the money than. Just love your precious girl and let your boss worry about his horny boy.

If your dog, AND your boss' dog, are both outstanding examples of your breed, both have hip and eye certifications, and both are purebred, and registered, and preferably have some kind of Conformation, Obedience, or Agility titles, then go ahead.

Otherwise, I say get your b*i*t*c*h (unspayed female dog) fixed. Spaying is best for pets.

Why would you want to ? There are no benefits I can see apart from your boss wants to. Surely there are enough staffies in rescue homes if he wants another dog
