1. Low budget - bake him a cake or buy one.

i think if you have already bought him something that probably cost a lot of money then you should either make him something special or give him something of centimental value of yours, that you think he would appreciate.. maybe make him a scrap book because in my opinion someone taking time and effort over something is worth more than just going to the shop and buying lots of things.

why dont you get him a keyring with a favourite picture of you both engraved on the front and a message and the date on the back, useful, special, funky, and romantic all in one and it wont blow the bank budget either.

,some like material gifts,some romantic stuff,some like costly gifts,some like vehicles,you know your friend by now what he likes and not.if this year you give material gifts,next year it can be a romantic one[a suprise candle light dinner all alone] and so on always suprise him.happy anniversary, may you have many more.
