This isn't any fancy shmancy recipe for cookies, although, they taste unbelievable good. They will never harden, they'll always remain soft and fluffy on the inside. They've been in my family for years and just look at the ingredients.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Combine ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Let cool. Recipe doesn't make very many, so you could double recipe as you desire.

My 10 year old loves making these.

Melting Moments (makes about 36)

8oz ( 225g) soft margarine
6oz (175g) caster sugar
2 egg yolks
a few drops of vanilla essence
10oz (275g) self-raising flour

Divide the mixture into about 36 portions. Form each piece into a ball and roll in the oats to cover. Flatten each ball slightly and top each with a quartered glace cherry, if liked. Place on the prepared baking trays. bake in the pre-heated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool slightly before lifting on to a wire rack to cool.
