Eat a dry cracker in the morning right as you get up. The nausea is more likely to occur in the morning as your body processes not only your own but the baby's cell metabolism over night.
Sprite helps, but eat the dry cracker first.
Also, don't overeat, and don't mix a lot of different foods together.
Try to eat proteins by themselves, as they are harder to digest when mixed with carbohydrates. Allow 2 hours between proteins and carbs.
Whatever you do, relax and know that your body will adjust to the baby, and the nausea will go away all by itself by the third month.

I feel your pain! You can try sipping on ginger ale - that may help. The only that really worked for me though was a pressure point bracelet. I think it was called the bio-band or somethign like that. There are a few out there - they were the only thing to help me through my morning sickness. The one I got actually sent a small electrical current to stimulate the nerve causes nausea (or somethign to that effect - dont' worry it's FDA approved). It felt weird, but worked like a charm! Good luck!

Personally, nothing "really" helps. I had constant nausea until week 15.
Although, the things that seemed to give me some rest were pickled ginger (the kind that comes with sushi) and very cold, very carbonated ginger ale.
Good luck!!! I feel for ya!

If you are really bad, tell your doctor and he/she might prescribe you Zofran. I'm on it and it works wonders. I was really sick though, vomitting all day long, losing weight and feeling woozy. It's a last ditch effort. Try the basics first. Seltzer water, crackers, maybe some cucumbers. Make sure you eat every 2 hours...even though it might be hard, just a couple crackers might do the trick. And don't forget to drink water.
Good Luck!

This might sound crazy but it works. Try Orbit White or Trident White Chewing gum. It has baking soda in it and will settle your stomach. I use it for upset stomach all the time and it works really fast. The baking soda is a natural product and won't harm the baby or your stomach. My grandfather has always used baking soda for an upset stomach but this tastes better. Hope it helps!

Tylenol is the only thing I was told is ok to take during pregnancy. I just lived with it until the 11th week. :) Congrats on baby.

Your doctor can give you phenergan (generic name is promethazine). Works wonders!!!! And it is safe to take.
Also, I had to keep crackers beside my bed and eat one before I even got out of bed. You may want to try that.
