I don't want the downstairs neighbors to complain anymore.

Oil just stinks up the place.

The bed is less than two years old.

The sound seems to be from where the frame meets the headboard

If you don't want the bed to squeak anymore just use the floor. Put out a blanket and pillows, then your all set!!!! If you move out to a different apartment, you wont even need a bed, just do what you did when you sex on the floor!!!!

I would make sure all the hardware (nuts and bolts) are tight on the frame and headboard. Maybe a little WD 40?

sounds like you need a new bed oil isn't going to help The ma tress goes bad because the box spring is is no good anymore if you can't afford it you can put pillows in between the mattress and box spring or just use the mattress by it's self In the mean time save for a new one

By oil I guess you mean WD-40...b/c that works...but I guess you could try going at it sideways along the width of the bed instead of up-and-down the length of the bed. sometimes that works.

1.) Lose weight
2.) Screw elsewhere, sleep in the squeaky bed, but don't move
3. Buy a waterbed

It may be time for a new mattress or box spring. Ah, the small price you pay for pleasure.

There is no way...use the floor or buy a new bed.
