Looking at a 1920 Deuel county , ( South Dakota ) , for family information, I stumbled upon my Grandmothers nae b.d. and 2 other siblings names which I recognized ; except for their last name . Which list their name as Ducedic ; searching for others with this name Ducedic , or a name with similarities I found none except for the 3 family members with the Ducedic "last" name.

Grandmother's parents information is located directly above, and those first and last names are recognized. The birthdates also are all correct in this 1920 us census report. Was the word ducedic a word or a possible acycronym?

well, it sounds to me like a serbian/croatian last name to me. most of them end with -ic.

If it truly is Serbian / Croatian name, it might have been Ducevic in its original form, which means "the son of Duce". Somewhere along the line it transformed from Ducevic to Ducedic.
