they're goldfish aren't they. someone threw a rock through the bwindow and it smashed the bowl, isn't that it?

John and Mary died of exposure to freezing weather outside of their house. They had tried getting into the warmth of their bedroom by throwing a rock through their bedroom window so they could climb up to unlock the window and open it. They were successful in getting the window open, but it was so slippery from the icy weather John and Mary fell back onto the ground and froze to death!
The window was broken by the rock, hence the broken glass along with the rock on the floor. The window was opened either by John and/or Mary before they slipped, and the water on the floor is either melted snow or ice getting into the room through the open window.

John and Mary live in a glass house
They had a big argument and started hurling rocks at each other, during which they got very hot and opened the window
They then found everything funny and turned it into a water fight
all of a sudden Mary had a heart attack and john suffered a cardiac arrest. The End!

Someone threw a rock through the window it hit the fish bowl which smashed creating the water on the floor and poor old John and Mary the fish asphixiate on the floor

does anyone stop to think that maybe john and mary had made a death pact together that very night so they took some pills with some water and it just happened that someone threw a brick through their window coincidentally?
