doing a research paper, how do you make a brief outline for your paper?

anyone please help me and be specific.. how , and what questions do i write i need 3 different outlines for my research paper. it is on terriorism secrets on 911

Here is how I do an outline:

1. Introduction
a: opening statement
b: supporting argument
c: Thesis statement
2. History
a: Who planned 9/11
b: What happened (I know it sounds obvious but it is usefull to put this in).
3. Body Paragraph one - Secret 1
4. Body Paragraph two - Secret 2
5. Body Paragraph three - secret 3. (can add more if you need to)
6. Conclusion
a. recap essay
b. reiterate thesis statement
c. closing statement.
7. References

You can change this around to make 3 outlines.
