Where exactly is your prom gonna be held? is it in Denver, or an outside town?
Downtown Denver is an awesome place to have prom dinner. there are very nice restaurants such as The Chop House, Sullivan's, The Keg (Steakhouse), The Cheesecake Factory, etc...go to Yahoo! and go to the Yellow Pages and there is a list of restaurants with ratings from past customers...it's a good place to start

Since you are going for an unforgettable experience, I would recommend going to The Broker downtown. I took my prom date there and we sat in the bank vault. If you call early enough, you can probably get set up in there also. You can't beat the atomosphere at the Broker, in my opinion. I know it was a great experience for me, so check it out.
One tip... the meal has multiple courses and it usually takes a good 2-3 hours to eat so make your reservations early enough in the night so you still have time to make it to prom.

Cool River off of Bellvue is amazing! Also, you could try Rodizio Grill downtown. Fondue is always something different, but is very filling if you do a full course! Also, some Japanese restraunts will cook the dinner right at the table, which is always fun! Hacienda off of Lincoln and I-25 has great Mexican food, and there is always the famous Del Frisco's..amazing, but pricy! Try this website....

If you are going with a group, you should go to Gasho's of Japan, I think its on Bellview and I-25, its a fun prom restaurant, but make sure you make reservations. If you cant go there, try the melting Pot, its a fondue restaurant. Its really delicious, but it will take around 1 1/2 hours to finish your meal...anyway its worth it. Have fun
