i.e. as a groomsman or bridesmaid. Ever as the Bestman or Maid of Honour? And, are they still married?

Which on was your most memorable one?
(*lots of questions....)

10 times- twice the maid of honor. 7 out of 10 are still together.

Just as the saying goes, always a bridesmaid, never a bride.

Most memorable was one of my sisters where my niece dipped her dress in the toilet and my wallet was stolen in the church.

I have never actually stood up for anyone, but I have planned quite a few weddings. It is the most amazing thing to be let into someones' marriage and family life. I become one of the family and it is a great honor to see the couple walking down the aisle. It is more than anything I could ever ask for ... being a planner is the most rewarding job out of any I've had before.

I stood-up for 5 weddings.

As a child, I was a flower girl for 2 weddings.
(my Godfather's wedding and then my Aunt's wedding)

Then, when I was 16yrs, I was Junior Bridesmaid for my cousin's wedding.
I didn't really enjoy that one because I didn't have a partner in the wedding party.. usually bridesmaid will have an "usher" to walk down the aisle with...and I didn't.

Then (at 18yrs) I was a Bridesmaid again for my other cousin's wedding.
But then I got called away as my daughter became ill at the sitters, so I didn't really get to enjoy that wedding.

Then, last year (25 yrs) I was Maid of Honor at my best friends wedding. This one takes the cake because my husband was the "Best Man" too.
We both had to make a speech at the diner for this one and we had lots of good, funny and embarrasing stories to share.
The 4 of us have been friends since teenagers and they were in our wedding party too when we were married so it was story pay-back time (LOL). It was one of the best nights of my life.

Besides my own, I have been in 2 weddings, one as a bridesmaid, one as a maid of honor. Both are still married, one for 12 years one for 7 months.

I cant pick a favorite, they were both so different in their own ways, but they were both beautiful and wonderful weddings and I had a great time at each and more importantly each couple had a great time at their weddings.

I've been in three weddings (four if you count my own), 2 as maid of honor and one as a bridesmaid. The first wedding, my sisters, they are divorced; the second, my SIL's, they are on the path of divorce; and the 3rd, a close friend of mine, they are still married and haven't haven't an anniversary yet.

I have been the maid of honor once and the matron of honor twice. The most memorable wedding I was in was my brother and sister in law's. My sister in law asked me to be her matron of honor and I couldn't have been more thrilled. I had known her for a lot of years so it was like we were already family before she married my brother. All three couples are still happily married with beautiful children.

I've stood in 4, and all are still married, they were all good. I should mention that we were all married in the last two years - we're all between 22-25

Before ever becoming a minister, I was MoH in 2 weddings.
Both couples are nearing their 30 year anniversary, both have one child.
