I met this guy two months ago who I have developed very strong feelings for. Two problems: he lives 5 hours away and he has a girlfriend. Last night he told me about how he cannot stop thinking about me and how he wishes we could be together. In the fall we will be going to the same college and said we could be together then. For now though he is going to stay with his girlfriend. What should I do?

Well that dosn't seem right, he wants to stay with his girlfriend until he sees you...if he really had feelings for you he'd break up with her and see if you can do some sort of long distance thing in the meantime. It also depends, are you looking for something serious or just somone to be with in college? Id say give him a choice, break up with his girlfriend now and focus on you, or just stay with his girlfriend and only be friends with you. Good Luck

Really what can you do? You have two options, tell him to get rid of the gf now so you can carry on a long distance relationship - or wait until fall when you can be together. It is really about what you will and won't stand for- but I'm curious how you could have developed feelings for him if he's 5 hours away and has a girlfriend? When have you two had time to really talk or be together? Anyway, good luck.

Yes there are really 2 problems here........the other girl and he has zero morals! He is cheating on his current gf, and he is using her and keeping her around to keep himself occupied til u get there??? You won't have any future with a guy like this. Even IF he does leave his current gf when u arrive, do u honestly think he can stay true to u? You would always have trust issues with this guy if u stayed with him. If u were ever looking for a "red flag", this is it. Move on, and don't become the next girl he uses and then throws away for someone better.

you should talk to him about how serious he's about his girlfriend.... if he wants a relation with both of you at the same time then its definitely not a good idea as neither you nor his girlfriend will be happy and these kind of relationships cause confusion and problems in future. Therefore before you go ahead with this guy clarify things.

Wait and see. If he's not with his girlfriend when you two are at college, maybe you could hook up.
But if you start a relationship together, remember that he thinks it's fine to court other women while he's dating one already. Is that something you are willing to put up with?

Your getting played and who's to say that he's going to the college that you are going to he maybe just playing with your head or his girlfriend may go to the same college he's going to so they could be together...I hate when women mess with someone else man and they know it...stop making us look bad (same old questions).............if he's doing that to her what's makes you think he is not going to do it to you

Well the first girl that answered obviously has never liked someone before or is a ho a nd dont care because she is so insensitive. so what you need to do is realize is that he might really like you but hes puttin you second with haven another girl around and he shouldnt di that if he likes you, n you dont deserve that but you also need to give him space si that he can work things out with his gf.

He's playing both of you he's what you call a player a womanizer Then if he got with you he would be doing it to another do you want that
He might be a nice guy but you want someone that's going to be true to you

just wait and see what happens when you go to college together, if it is meant to be it will happen, but dont put your life on hold either if you meet someone else go with it and see what happens. good luck
