I believe you are trying to say that you accidentally cleared PART of your document without realizing it, saved it, and then shut down. I am sorry to inform you that i do not believe that you can recover that data, as word updates the file when you save, and the fact that Undo is cleared when you exit word. Once again, i apologize for having to break this to you.

Are you saying you deleted a saved document? If so, it's in the Recycle Bin. If you had NOT saved the document and deleted it, it's gone. Look in the Recycle Bin and if you find it, use Restore it to put it back in Word. It may go back as read only, but if it does, just open it and save it with another name.

check your recycle bin, double click on it and see what files are in the bin, if you did not give it a file name then you have lost it...

always save your files every 5 minutes or so that way you will never lose everything, put your word processor in auto save mode

Don't PANIC! There are recovery programs out there. Your document may be deleted but it's still there for now. Check out the link below for some freebie recovery programs.

Try the 3rd one: "Restoration"

Good luck!
