My college uses TeLL me More, by Auralog. I found it more complete and less repetitive. It covers not only the basics, but also intermediate or advanced level. My goal was to become fluent so it was perfect for me. It has a lot of different activities: picture/word association, videos, dialogues,..., includes also grammar and conjugation. Their speech recogntion is great so you can have a dialogue with the computer. They have a free demo at http://www.auralog.com/.
I came across that website listing Spanish software http://learn-spanish-software-review.toptenreviews.com/
The best way to learn a language would be through immersion, visiting these countries. Learning a language will require some time. In addition to software, you can have books which are useful as well. Audio CDs like Pimsleur for instance might help you out but you cannot get any feedback on your pronunciation so I did not like it so much.

I've always heard that the easiest way to learn Spanish is go to like Mexico or somewhere and fully immerse yourself in it. Hope that helps.

If you don't/ haven't learned it in school then it can be quite hard. The easiest way but quite costly is to hire a tutor. If you cant do that then try www.studyspanish.com its great! I learned spanish this way too!

Hang out with someone who speaks spanish. Have them ONLY speak to you in spanish... point to objects , repeat the names. After a while you pick up and remember words and phrases... its the cheapest way anyway.

There is no "easy" way to learn a language. It requires lots of hard work and study, and lots of memorization. When studying any language, the more exposure the better. Movies, radio, TV. books, magazines, dictionaries, and practice, practice, practice.

Buy CD's to teach you. That's how I learned another language and it was totally easy and you don't have to worry about what you lecturer thinks of you.
