They do in Luke chapter 2. It tells us that between the ages of 12 and 30, that he "grew in wisdom ans stature, and in favor with God and man".

Under Jewish traditions, a son would declare around the age of 12 or 13, what profession he intended to apprentice for - usually following in the work of his father. At the age of 12, Jesus made that declartion that he must be about his Father's (meaning Father God) business.

A son would then study and work until the age of 30, when he was ready to be tested and then declared a master at his profession. At the age of 30, Jesus was test by satan (in the temptation in the wilderness) and declared by his Father is a "well pleasing" son at his baptism.

Nothing happened in between the ages of 12 and 30 that is necessary for us to know to understand the plan of salvation. So God did not waste space writing about it.

About 20+ years of Jesus' life is unaccounted for, Between 10years??old (childhood) and about 30.
Christians are convinced he was sitting around, an unmarried adult Jewish man, an oddball because of this, twiddling his thumbs and making furniture.

It's amazing that christians believe (God) didn't think most of the years which the most important man roamed the face of the earth was "important".

ANd since we all know that God didn't write the bible, middle eastern bronze age men did,
THEY either didn't know, didn't 'find it important' or it was purposely omitted by the writers, or by those who selected the books to go to into Catholic canon of the bible.

Because he was gettin' it on with Mary Magdalene, drank a lot of wine and was quite the party animal. God decided to leave that part out because Jesus is supposed to be a good example.

They do mention it. Remembered when his parents lost him on their way back home, and they found him in the temple speaking God's word?

His teachings really didn't begin until he was 30. That's the most important part of his life.
