I don't think there is medicine for that, but there are social skills you can do. It's hard to be reserved and shy. I'm not one of those people, but when I encounter one, I forget how hard it is for them (you). Do things like eating alone in a restaurant or going to the movies by yourself. Tell yourself that you are going to introduce yourself to someone you've been wanting to meet for a long time and do it!

But! You might also have an anxiety disorder and a therapist or psychiatrist would need to help you if you think you have that. There are medications for that.

Tell your teacher in private that they are violating your privacy by saying hurtful things in front of other people.

Introverted is not a bad way to be.
Try smiling a little bit and making some eye contact, then they will just call you shy and quiet, which is actually kind of cute in my opinion.
About medication, try not to rely on chemicals when there is nothing wrong with you.

Always check with your doctor before taking any medication.
If your problem is anxiety when having to meet all these people
there is a medication called "Xanax" which is really good for
anxiety. If your doctor thinks it depression then there are many
anti-depressants available.
You may just have a chemical in-balance that must be treated,
because it will only the worst.I know because I've been there
before my doctor got me on medication for it.Now I feel real
good.Call your doctor now.
Good Luck

no you are fine, some peeps just find it hard to talk to others as you grow it will become easier!!!
your teacher really is in the wrong to of said anything to you.
your school should be accommodating to your needs and if they are not the i would speak to your parents or the head teacher!!
you are perfect as you are and don't let any one say anything different. you don't need medicine because you are not sick just shy and that's fine!!
maybe you would find it easier to talk to people in smaller groups! take care and don't worry i was a very shy until i was about 16 and then i couldn't stop talking! it will come

If you are shy there is probably a reason, are you ashamed of something--maybe about your body? My advice would be to see someone in the mental health profession---NO YOU NOT CRAZY! But if you are crying, you need to talk to someone you can hold in confidentially.
