okay, well my sister got her tongue pierced the other day, but she said it didn't good or something, so she took it out because of the pain. Now she is in PAIN quite badly! What do you recommend she does? (we have got anti-bacterial mouthwash already by the way)

She really needs to see a doctor just to be safe.

I would recomend honestly to seek professional medical advice from a doctor. As a former master certified Piercist, there may not be any 1 reason for the pain. Could be that the piecist was just not being carefull, To the client may not have obeyed the after care instructions. These may not be the case. But I have always told every single client recieving any piercings, as quote" If you feel there is something wrong? Do not hestitate to call! If you feel that it is infected, Seek prompt medical attention!" I am no docter and will never be one so I take to chances with people and direct them to a docter. By the way its probably not a good idea to ask for home remedies it may cause a lot more problems for her.

If she doesn't want to pay for the doctor they she needs to gargle peroxide or Listerine (the strong stuff)...You know just hold it in the mouth for a while. She needs to do it several times a day and expecually after she eats or drinks anything. It works!! Just give it a few days.

I would guess she has an infection. Get to a doctor so that she can get on antibiotics soon. Like TODAY!
