I had the flu last week. I had coughing and sore throat. I don't have coughing or the sore throat anymore but if I talk for a minute or 2 I lose my voice. I need to talk for my job and I have a show to do. Is there anyway I can get my voice back or at least talk longer than 2 minutes before it dissappears.

First, rest your voice and stop trying to force it to work. It happened to me a few months ago, and i have to have my voice to work. I sipped on hot tea with lemon and honey and peppermints. Also take a pain reliever for the soreness. It will come back in a day or so.

I've heard of a product called "Throat Coat". Check it out.
