We are having a big party with alot of kids (most under the age of 6). I am looking for ideas for party bags. The theme of his party is all little construction vehicles. I am looking for some really cute ideas cuz this is my last baby I can have and I want this to be special. Any ideas?

you can go tot your local craft store and see if they have construction vehicle wood shapes-(usually a thin, plain wood cutout) then you can paint them as you like and put either the childs name who is attending on it or your sons name a party date. then put a magnet on and the kids have magnets! Truly one of a kind. Or you can buy cheap t shirts(if you know the kids sizes) also available from (ACMOORE) for around 2 or 3 dollars. buy a foam stamp and t shirt paint and stamp them and personalize them however you like.
can buy cheap construction vehicles from a dollar store. or you can buy plain wood picture frames and find some kind of (patch, stamp, sticker, ect) and decorate yourself. during the party make sure you get a group picture of the kids and when you send thank you's out, be sure to send a group picture to each kid to put in the frame. you could also order hard hats and personalize them too. those you can get from ORIENTALTRADING.com good luck, I hope this helps. I love parties and doing favor bags and stuff. Have fun!

you can get small containers of play-dough and soft little balls along with fruit snacks and a box of juice and don't forget the hot wheel car. of course if they are too young for hot wheel cars then get a bigger car for them. Now I also had done away with the gift bags and got a bucket with sand toys for them at the dollar store. same price for the sand toys as would have been for the gift bag. you can also choose to give a book in place of the goodie back and if you want to add a box of juice and fruit snacks that would make a nice party gift.
you can also get some paint paper (big pieces) and grab some paint. have the kids take off their socks and shoes and paint there feet. have them walk across the paper and then they have an art piece they can take home and their mom's can save their art work. make sure you have a bucket of water close by and some towels. my kids loved this and so did the moms.

There are lots of great websites that have party favor packages for toddlers. I'd say create your own party favor sets maybe try your local 99 cent store and buy various age appropriate toys, soft animals, animal cookies, toddler mini puzzles or inexpensive learning toys, books toddlers are easy to plaese and will enjoy playing with just about anything. At Target they sell minature soft bodies construction cars designed especially for tots by Playskool, maybe some infant shovels or go to your local craft store and make little toddler construction caps.

A one-year-old's party is more for the parents celebrating getting through the first year than it is to excite the kid.

Token things for the young guests would be okay.

(End of March! Give him a birthday high five from me, I'm end of March too)

Maybe some bubbles, a jump rope, noise makers, or toy cars without small parts.

At my sister's 1st birthday party, I think we just sent the kids home with a cup cake, sun glasses, and something else I can't remember.

What I did for my son was I put Little People on the tables and the guests took some home. It gave them something to play with at the tables. I also gave each child a small stuffed animal. it worked out really well

Different types of cars would be a great idea... Make it even more special by paying like a dollar more to have ur son's name and the occasion engraved into the cars (like with baby shower favors)... Bob the Bulder show and or website should give you a lot of ideas also...
