Well I would not worry about terriost where I live. It is in Wisconsin and somewhere about 3 or 4 feet on snow along side a road. Before I asked this question I already called by reserve center but they just told me to com in the next day. I just came here to ask if there is some number to call. I thought my NOSC was being lazy, that's all. You people need to calm down.

1) Notify your first shirt and supervisor IMMEDIATELY. That card needs to be cancelled so that the certificates supporting it can be deleted. (the old cards were important and shouldn't be lost, but the new cards are even more of a key item and they need to be accounted for at all times, therefore when you lose a CAC Card you need to get that information up the chain ASAP)
2) Go to your MPF and get a new card and new certificates and be sure that your old card is known as lost.

Contact your Reserve Unit !! You will run a chit to replace the card (at least back in the 80's we did)... get your back-side chewed by your CPO... and then get your new ID.
I'm alittle surprised you came to YAHOO! to ask such a query.
Lost military ID's are DANGEROUS !! Aside from the possibility of it falling into terrorist hands, there is the wonderful probablity of your card being used by criminals for identity theft !! Your ID carries your full name, your DOB, and your SSN !!
Heck my ex-wife kept HER dependents ID following our divorce, and then a year later put my name to $10,000 worth of debt !! I got lucky and got it cleaned up, but SHE did 1 year in a California prison for fraud !

Go to New York city. Hail a cab. Your driver will be from the Middle East. Ask him where you can get one. He can fix you up with any kind of I.D. you need. The terror organization that furnishes I.D. for their people can fix you up with anything you need. Their organization is a lot more efficent then our Gov.

Go see your Unit Coordinator, tell them what happened and they will possible counsel you for losing it and then give you the paper work to get another one. I lost my ID card once and that is what they did...I had several of my soldiers through out the years lose them and that is what we did...it is really no big deal...it happens all the time...

How long have you been in, three weeks? Notify your chain of command. They'll have you fill out a chit and get a new one.
