Are there any other fees I should think about?

We obtained our marriage license from Oakland County and were married in Wayne County. According to the Oakland County website, the current fee for a marriage license is $20.00 for Michigan residents and $30.00 for out-of-state residents. Occasionally the fees increase, so I recommend you double check with the county you will be obtaining your license prior to doing so.

attempt finding up the standards on line by using your marriage city's county recorder workplace (the place marriage licenses are disbursed). I doubt it incredibly is going to talk to warrants, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's confusing to respond to this question no longer understanding the state you reside in. each state has distinctive standards. you're able to be able to desire to consistently call the county recorder workplace and ask approximately historic past assessments pertaining to to marriage licenses. while you're no longer getting married till April, that's ultimate he turns himself in and seems after his criminal issues. it's going to make it lots extra effective for you, and him too. reliable good fortune and congrats.
