I bought my boyfriend tickets to a game for valentines day, and we broke up a few days afterward. He had asked me to hold on to the tickets, and when we broke it off, he said he didnt want to go if it wasnt with me. My good friend, who really has always been there for me, offered to buy the tickets (a little insensitively) off me and i agreed. My boyfriend and I sort of made up, and he asked about the tickets. It turned out to be that I have to work tonight (game day). He asked if it would be alright if he went with one of his buddies. Problem is I had already promised my friend i'd give her the tickets. Technically I couldnt say no to him- it was his gift! not to mention he took me to a really expensive dinner. I gave him the tickets, and my friend already asked her (jerk) boyfriend to take off work so that they could go. What do I say to her?

ack! i really don't think it was ur fault that u and ur bf ended up breaking up and u gave the tix away. that's not ur problem. i mean he knew u had them and wanted ot go with him but since u broke up ufigured u could give them away. that's not ur fault...but since it's too late, u shoul djust tell ur friend that ur really really sorry but u gafe htem back to ur bf. and u kno it was a stupid thing to do but you did purchase them for HIM and since things were good with u guys u'd feel rude not giving them to him. i'm sure if she's ur good friend she won't get mad or atlesat not for long. it's not a big deal. just tell her now before it gets too late!!!

wut had happend... and try to explain that u give them away 2 ur Boyfriend!!! ok she might get mad because u already tolold her that u were gonna give them to her and then u give them 2 ur boyfriend... so i don't really know hoe is this gonna end up!!!

u need to tell ur friend that ur bf has the tickets b/c they were his gift i.o.w. they r his. if ur friend is a true friend she will understand. good luck!
