I'd take the world's largest book: http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/ptech/12/16/largest.book.ap/ (maybe I could use the material to help make a raft to get off the island). At a minimum, once I read it, i will have a lot of kindling to start fires, or I could use the giant pages to keep warm.

I would take the best surival guide I could find. I would need it to help me figure out how to find edible food, drinking water, and create shelter and heat.

I guess the third book would be something like Norton's Anthology of World Literature, which wold give me the most reading material.

I would take these three books without any question about it. The Bible first of all......the most important one to have, a survival in wild book, and for the thrid book.....I'd say a diary book....so I can record my actions throughout my timeframe at the island.
