Yes. I agree. Of course soon can be argued...soon for me may not be the same too you. To God a thousand years is as one day.

The final Judgment Day is not until after the millieum, (A day with the LORD is as 1000 years to man) When the true Christ returns at the seventh trump, then starts the millieum. YHVH God The Father is a very fair God and He wishes none of His souls to perish. The millieum will be a time of teaching Gods truth. ALL will know the LORD. After the millieum, (The LORD's Day), then comes the final judgment of those that love the LORD and those that choose not to follow Him. satan goes first into the lake of fire followed by the false preachers and teachers and all those that choose satan.

As we look at the world around us, and the way society is going, our human viewpoint makes us think this cannot go on much longer: God will surely come in judgement soon. However there has been perversion, social sin, you name it - for centuries. Look at a history of the middle ages.
When I was in Spain I heard continually on the streets a form of blasphemy that I almost expected lightening to strike! But then when I thought about it, expressions that are equally bad are used in the English language, only we have become so accustomed to it.
I do believe Jesus Christ will return in judgement, and I expect it probably will not be a very long time in the future, simply because so much time has passed already. But I really don't know God's calendar: people have been saying this for a long time.
As Peter said, God is patient, and is giving more opportunities for certain people to repent. (For example, I am very glad He did not come in judgement before June of 1966).

The problem is, though religions agree the signs of the last days are being fulfilled, they are in disagreement over whether this means that Christ is “Coming” or already “Present” in our time.

Matthew 24:3
“ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” (KJV)

“While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” (NWT)

What you need to do is go to any Bible Book Store and buy an Interlinear Greek Translation of the New Testament.

Look up the scripture and note the Greek spelling of the word translated as “Presence” or “Coming.” Now, look for the word “Presence” elsewhere in the New Testament. You will note that in the King James, as well as many other Bibles, they will translate the same Greek word as “Presence” everywhere, except at Matthew 24:3.

Now, why would that be?
Is it because they know that Christ has returned and they missed it, just as the ancient Jews missed the signs of the first coming of Christ, over 2000 years ago?

OR

That the signs are not being fulfilled, that we are really not in the last days, and that they’ve been scaring their followers for decades for nothing?

So, which is it? If it is the second one, than we may be decades, centuries, or even millenniums from the last days, for which then, religion may have no further importance in our time.

If it is the first one, than you might want to join Judaism, as you are repeating history.

So, which is it?

Christians, as disciples of Jesus, should be concerned with the Kingdom that has already come rather than, as disciples of John the Baptist were, the coming judgment - of which no one, not even the son, knows when.

there are a lot of things that have to come to pass before judgement day... the trumpets and the bowl judgements come first... so soon is relevant to only the beginning of the tribulation trials... but time is getting closer

No. It's coming up in the sense that we all die. But if you mean the end of the world, every Christian that feels like he's in a good place with Jesus, WISHES it was the end of the world because that would be the most historic and exciting time on this planet!!

Certainly it's coming up soon, depending on your definition of SOON. It's been coming up for many thousands of years, so what's a few more thousand ?
