Did the container have mold? Did it taste or smell bad? If not, then it was fine.
The "expiration date" is actually the date that the FDA requires all dairy and meat products be stamped with to tell the grocer when to remove from the shelves. It is not a magical date by which the food automatically spoils.

It'll be fine. It was only a few days ago. Usually that is just a guideline and is good for up to 2 weeks after the date. Throw the rest of it out though k? :)

dat of expiry means after this date the material will start detiorating under normal (specified) storage conditions.but as no one should take risk for eatables,so just try to smell it - is it different from normal smell? look for some colored spots that can be fungus or mold? if not then go ahead. coz only these 2 are common food spoilage items. Good day

Eh, I've done that too. If you didn't notice anything funky about it (smell, taste, texture) and if it hadn't been opened, you'll be fine. Wait about 4-6 hours and see how you feel. Chances are you're fine, it's only a few days out of date. I swear they put that date on there just to keep away from lawsuits. Even my food safety prof said that.
