When I have a cold my throat usually hurts, and I can't stand tea so my mom told me to drink honey lemon water, sounds gross I know, but it's not.
Heat up some water in the microwave until it's hot
squeeze some honey into the cup, and stir till dissolved
then add some lemon water and taste it until it taste alright to you.
The honey coats your throat so it won't hurt as much, and the lemon will help kill a virus, if that what you have.

Try some ginger tea with a spritz of lemon or red tea with honey. That always gets me feeling warmer and less clogged up. Of course, the obvious ones are plenty of water, ginger ale, and orange juice for the Vitamin C powahhh! Also, chamomile tea gets you relaxed if you need a nice, long nap. Gatorade gets you rehydrated when you're sick, it makes me feel better a lot! I've learned from being a sickly child that hot liquids get rid of the nasty germs and keep you going. If you're feeling hungry, why not brothy soup?
Hope you feel better!

Nothing cold - not to get a sore throat. Hot tea with lemon and honey is very good.
Of course you can drink liquid vitamins.

orange juice, thera flu apple cinnamon if it's a regular cold, but if you have body aches theraflu flu formula (lemon flavor) is great for that, also ginger ale if the orange juice tastes too acidic for you. Hope you feel better :)

Lots of fluids. Water, orange juice, tea and even Gator Aid (to replace electrolytes). And, yes, chicken soup really will help.
