Hmmmm I wouldn't go anywhere North because it will be colder than it is in London where I life. So only places south of London. Maybe south west coast. But seriously if I was going on holiday I would just jump on the Eurostar and go somewhere a bit better than this country!!!

Cornwall is a great place to visit - even in October! there's plenty to do and places to visit....Lands End, Padstow, Penzance or the Eden project if you are into Plant life. The beaches are some of the best in the UK they're wide and plentiful.

The Lake District is gorgeous. Plenty of hills and erm, lakes. Loads of good restaurants. There are some excellent self-catering cottages and holiday parks around, depending on what you want.

I've been to Brighton during summer and it's a great place. Lots of pubs, entertainment and the beach. Not too far from London for a quick visit.

london is the best place there is so much to do and its like america it never sleeps at nite...a week stayin in london you wudnt wana go bak home speakin from experience.
