Peace is a state of harmony, absent open hostility. This term is applied to describe a cessation of or lapse in violent international conflict; in this international context, peace is the opposite of war. Peace can also describe a relationship between any parties characterized by respect, justice, and goodwill.
More generally, peace can pertain to an individual relative to her or his environment, as peaceful can describe calm, serenity, and silence. This latter understanding of peace can also pertain to an individual's sense of himself or herself, as to be "at peace" with one's self would indicate the same serenity, calm, and equilibrium within oneself.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

No!! I have found peace and love with my mind and my eyes wide open!! (I loved reading your question)

sure, I did for 2 minutes, and the image I observed replace into of too boring a existence not worth residing. Do you have an theory a pair of stagnating small pond with out go out for the water to flow? that's what I observed. My existence is in basic terms too dynamic to be settled with the boredom of peace. I recommend, not non-end peace. i can relish peace, yet as a pause between struggles.

A little mind can exist as open or closed. Big Mind is neither open nor closed nor not-neither nor not-both. Big Mind exists in repose detached from suffering yet also engages the world as a wellspring everflowing compassion to all. The open mind may find itself as Big Mind, the closed mind not. Yet with the awakening of Big Mind, discernment is still present. Though the great road is wide, one must still be cautious not to stray off it.

One cannot love with a closed mind.

Love requires out-going, and out-going cannot happen through a closed door.

Since peace comes from Love, peace requires an open mind.

A closed mind, as has been mentioned in your previous question, can't learn much of anything and is absorbed in ego or their self-concept... there's usually very little actual altruism (real peace and love) in such a mind.
