Of course, 100% and plus. My God is the almighty, The most loving. No one has ever oved like Him, even your parents. I don't know the reason why you're asking this question but He is willing to help the weary and broken hearted. He sent His son-Jesus Christ to die for we-sinners. this is just one proof of His love. You need to know that God loves you. and is willing to be your friend. all you need to do is to accept him in to your heart.
My God has done so many things for me, 1st He is the source and center of my life, I depend on him for everything and He gives me the best and the best only. I encourage you to invite him into your life, He is the one who created you and he knows every single thing about you but he loves you just the same. He is here for you, ready and eager to listen to you. He understands everything you are going through and is just wating for you to invite him.

Yes, I m Christian and studying the shield and it's analogy.
The shield portrays divine protection against military invasion.
Genesis 15:1
Deut 33:29
Psalm 3:14
Psalm 28:7
Psalm 35:1,2
Psalm 115 9-!!
What we face today (terrorism) is thousands of years old.
We can use the power of prayer and thwart the plans of evil nations, the enemy.
Jesus says, do not fear, I am a shield for you.
Your very own reward.
Jesus Christ is the one who will kick the a** of the terrorist.
He will be victorious.
All of this in the Baby Boom generation.
In the era of Rock-n-Roll and Heavy metal.
I think that God is funnier than Hell :)
Peace out.

I am never satisfied with my understanding of what "God" might mean. I keep searching, reading, learning.

Oh yes, He satisfies me fully. But the real question is: Is He satisfied with us? That is much more important, isn't it?

I'm an atheist, and while it would be great if I could expect to go to Heaven when I die, the evidence just plain says God doesn't exist. Sorry, but I prefer to go with the truth rather than what might make me feel good over the short term.

Only when the appointed time comes when you bow on one knee and yield your tongue to my {GOD} just like everyone on this planet have already done, in secret.
