If you have not had it that long then you just need to wait it out. 12 different things is way to many thing to be trying for a cold. It's a cold. Caused by a virus. Unless it becomes a bacterial infection like a sinus infection or bronchitis, antibiotics will not help at all.
Rest, plenty of water, lots of fruits and vegetables and home made chicken soup along with over the counter medicines to help with the symptoms are about all you can do.

I swear I have the same thing. I have let it ride out for like a week, and I keep tasting this nasty taste in my mouth (the same when you get strept throat) but my throat doesn't hurt. My head hurts and now I have this awful cough. I finally broke down and called my Dr. today. You should do the same. It sounds like more than a cold.

Stop trying to self-medicate and go to your doctor. I don't know how important "Saturday" is, but it's not as important as your recovery.

Stop worrying about it. Unless you have a bacterial infection there is not much you can do beyond riding it out.
