Radio Shack is where I also buy my solder. I use flux core solder.

Lead solder.
Sn63/Pb37

Lead-free solder.
SnAgCu solders are used by about 2/3 of Japanese manufacturers for reflow & wave soldering, also by about 3/4 companies for hand soldering.

For general purpose repairs and kit assembly, use a 60/40 flux core solder.
It does contain lead but has a lower melting point so there will be less chance of damaging any other components when using.

Available @ Radio Shack or any other component/kit/electronics supplier.
