Okay here is the thing, you are never to young to fall in love. Love doesn't know age. I fell in love with my first true love when I was 13, and we were together for 4 years, and then on and off for two years. I have dated other guys, and I have even loved other guys, but nothing like I felt for him. Generally, love found at such a young age does not last forever, because both people still have alot of growing up to do, and when you grow, you change, so you end up growing apart from each other. But yes, love is possible at a young age, but probably will not last forever.

When I was 16, I thought I fell in love. But looking back I can safely say it wasn't love at all. It was just infatuation. Our relationship lasted for 3 years... but then I grew up and grew out of it. It's most likely not even love. Sure, it feels like it could be love. Sure, you think you'd do anything for that person. But it's just a high school comfort. It's not love. Trust me. And if it lasts past high school, it probably won't last much longer into college/in the real world. Hormones are a *****. Get ready for some heartbreaks.

It only wears off if it was not truely love.
It is however better to be a mature person who knows what they want befor looking ofr a spouce. People that marry or commit to a person befor they know what they themselves want run a higher risc of becoming non suited to their partner as they mature. people change as they get older as well so better odds of success in your relationship if both are mature adults. Also it is
a good thing to have a little wild and fun time between being a kid and getting attatched at the hip to someone. Most people are not mature at 20 guys more so...Lets
if your still confused not to worry, just stay out of any serious relationships till you figutre it out...lol

I would say 95% of the time it's puppy love. But there is that chance of it being a permanant love at that age. My cousin got married at 16 years old and now they are grandparents, so it's possible.

It almost, rarely ever lasts. people move on and mature. They are in immature, or puppy, love. They have no idea of the hardships or the appreciation life...with that comes maturity which comes a deeper meaning of love. Your friends are more in love with the attention than the actual guy.

17, sure, i got my wife knocked up at 17, i was 21she had the baby at 18, we then got married, a year later had another baby, and we are still happily married 6 years later.... and we have a deep feeling we always will be, sometimes, nothing can explain it, but we knew we were supposed to be together for as long as our life lasts, sure we argue, but when you cant mentally or physically see yourself without this person in the rest of your life... thats when you know.... otherwise its just puppy love.

I think it is rare for a love between teenagers to last, however, it does happen. My sister and her husband have been together since she was 15 and he was 17. They are now both in their 30's and have a 3 yr old daughter. It hasn't been easy for them, but they have made it.

In most cases, teen love doesn't last forever, although there are some times it does. I have friends who met in junior high and were dating throughout jr high and high school and are currently married, 2 kids, and still going strong.

We can never be sure that love will last forever. It doesn´t matter if you are 10, 15 or 50. Quoting a Brazilian poet: "-May it (love) be ethernal while it last."
