When my grandmother was on her death bed in the hospital she saw heaven.
She sat up in bed and described the proverbial garden. Then she started waving, calling out names, yelling hello to people who were all "dead".
It was amazing!
yes, there is a heaven and they only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me"

SInce I have never died I have no idea what happens after one dies other than the body stops funcioning and begins to rot. It would be nice to know if there really is a heaven . But even if there is a heave you would no longer have your body and it would be only your soul that was to go. The bible says that there will be no female or males since we no longer have our bodies there isnt much need to worry about male or female and the only thing that anyone will be doing is praising god and serving him. So it wont be like people running around and enjoying things like in the pictures that they show in sunday school where people are having picnics in the green grass and lions and other wild animals are all laying around and not trying to eat anyone. Well it would be rather hard I think for an animal to eat a spirit. The whole thing tho is what you believe . If you find comfort in believing ther is a happy place then dont let anyone tell you different. There is nothing wrong with you believing in a happy place that people go after they die.

Yes, when they die, people do in fact go to the next level of heaven which is a far more beautiful place than this physical world. When they finish there, they go to the next level, and so on. And it does not matter what they had believed in before they died. What determines which level they go to is their understanding of the spiritual subject called DIVINE LOVE, which they came to learn here in the first place.

Because each level of heaven is better than the one below, you are correct to call it a happier place.

I personally believe as the Bible says that there is a real heaven. Those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ will go directly to heaven when they die. Those who do not believe in Jesus will go to a place called Hades and will remain there until the great white thrown judgment. Theologically you would never call heaven a happy place, because happiness is based upon what happens to you, and in heaven it is who you are with and not what happens that makes it heaven.

Yes, but it totally depends upon the person's understanding of the meaning of Heaven.

1. the abode of God, the angels, and the spirits of the righteous after death; the place or state of existence of the blessed after the mortal life. 2. (cap.) Often, Heavens. the celestial powers; God. 3. Often, heavens. God (used in expressions of emphasis, surprise, etc.) : For heaven's sake! Good heavens!. 4. Usu., heavens. the sky, firmament, or expanse of space surrounding the earth. 5. a place or state of supreme happiness.

No one goes to heaven. Everyone goes to a waiting place. Heaven is a reward saved for the end. The death of someone is the end of that person's life, but not the end of the World.
Heaven and Hell are for THE END.

No. Every aspect of a human being's character is provably a function of the physical brain - therefore when the brain dies, the person ceases to exist. End of story.

Death means the end of life. You can't "go" anywhere if you are dead. Being dead means that you don't exist anymore. A non-existant thing can't "GO" anywhere. If you propose that when someone dies, they really don't die, then you have effectively negated the meaning of the word, 'death'. If you actually believe this why not remove the word death from the english language and quit using it? When you die, you're dead, end of story. Get it?

If God exists, and I as a Christian I certainly believe that He does, then Yes, something far better than this life is waiting for believers after they die. Also as a Christian I believe in the existance and power of Satan. He is anti-God and anti-God's people and he also has a place prepared just for him and his followers. We call it hell. Eternity is a long time to spend somewhere. Christians believe that they will have the priviledge to spend that time with God.
