I haven't, but the title sound like he thinks Jesus is Chinese. I think that is wrong, because it says in teh Bible Jesus lived in Israel.

I read a commentary on it and I am thankful for finding the commentary because I don't like to read unnecessarily. A test without a context is just a pretext for what you want it to mean.
I don't think we should ever place archeological context ahead of New Testament context. It is very easy for any writer to over-egg the pudding. I just got over Dan Brown's garbage.
Apostle Paul said, "Let God be true and every man a liar." Romans 3:4 Paul and the Holy Spirit knew I would need this statement and Paul put it in his writing that was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Paul put up with a bunch of religions; pagan, Judaism and false doctrines of Christ which we see everywhere today. They are coming out of the woodwork and preparing us for accepting the "great falling away." Of course, this means the antichrist is on the horizon for some, but for me - the rapture.

I read the book.
He is an archaeologist at University of North Carolina who does a lot of work in Israel. He believes Jesus was a man who had a messianic complex and who worked with his brother to revolt against the Romans and establish a new Israel.
He also think Jesus was buried in Galilee, not around Jerusalem.
Is this about the movie guy who "proved" he had found Jesus's bones? Yeah, a movie guy found the bones of a guy named Jesus and figures he changed the world.
Nut case.
I think I will stick to scripture and academics instead of people who specialize in fiction. I read Holy Blood, Holy Grail and a ton of other books too. It has not changed my view of Christ at all.
This silly stuff won't change it either.

I haven't read that book, but I have read another book concerning the dynasty of Jesus. It was by Laurance Gardner. It was very interesting to read. Oh it was called, "Bloodline of the Holy Grail; The bloodline of Jesus Christ." That may not be the correct title. However, very very cool stuff. It portrays Jesus as a mortal man and tells how Jesus didn't die on the cross.
