I have been out of the dating scene for 3 years now. Now I have meet someone. But the dating scene has changed so much. I have finally in a situation where I can have a healthy relationship and I am loving it. He is not what I am used to, but what I need in my life..... so I just need a little advice

I have been getting to know this guy since New Years and its still going and going strong. We are planning trips together with and without out children. We eat dinner together 3-4 times a week, spend the night a couple of days out of the week and on the weekend. We are only trying to get to know each other emotionally and physically. He's met my family. Now its been 2 months now, 13th of March will be 3 months. Now what level should I be on with him? Is this still the getting to know stage? Is this the dating stage? I am really digging this guy and the feelings are mutual. Is it to early for me to ask him if we could be exclusive and start a serious relationship?

Just wanted to add about the meeting my family thing. It was actually a b-day party for my son and he brought his daughter since they are the same age...... its was not like Sunday dinner with the family.

There is no such thing as "levels."

Do what YOU want. If you want to be exclusive, talk with him and say so. You already have a serious relationship.

stages are different with everyone, some folks meet one day and get married and are married for 60 yrs.
Others date up to 5 yrs before marriage.
It depends on you and him.
If the chemistry is right, u both should of been married the first week.
Oh well, i think its time u kissed him or some kind of physical
flow.

I can highly recommend John Gray PhD book "Mars and Venus on a Date." I've read it and continue to refer back to it as I navigate thru the dating scene.
