While probably not the most popular, I would prefer to go north and spend a nice long relaxing week in a mountain chalet or cabin with about 5 feet of snow on the ground. Maine, Vermont - anywhere in New England. Actually, it's quite beautiful in the fall as well, so either season would do for me!!!

I personally love Sailing throughout the Caribbean Islands for weeks at a time.

Jamaica - reggae, cool sweet drinks, sun, sea, relax with a good book at the swimming pool and great parties during a night time.
