Do you mean "dead" to sin? It is a long slow process. I am 50 years old and have gotten much sin out of my life with the help of the Lord. But there will never be a time when we "arrive" and are perfect and sinless in this world.

I'm going off of my assumption of what you are asking about.
The punishment for sin is a physical death, not spiritual death. Christians, along with everyone else in the world, will experience a physical death. We will not die a spiritual death because of our belief in Jesus, and who he is. For those who don't believe, they will experience a spiritual death (cast to hell).
As far as your assumption about most christians being weak in faith, this is so far off that you couldn't conceive. Weak faith doesn't cause you to be disowned as a Christian, therefore sending you to hell. It simply means that you have more growing and strengthening to do. That statement shouldn't be a part of the question, because it doesn't support your question.
Strong faith/weak faith - it doesn't matter. What matters is if you have faith or you don't. If you have faith, you are saved. If you don't, you are dooming yourself to a spiritual death (separation from God for eternity).

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you implying that most Christians are weak in their walk with God? If so, that isn't true. Sure there are some Christians who are struggling. But when a Christian struggles with their faith, it means God thinks they are strong enough to be tested. And through testing, their faith will grow stronger.
If you are asking why we won't die from our sin, it's because we ask Jesus for forgiveness. He forgives us. He has the power to do that because he died on the cross to save all of us from our sins. In other words, he died for us so we wouldn't die to pay for our sins.
Hope this helped.

Most people of Faith(because anybody can call themselves Christian) have died to sin and in fact do daily. For we are being perfected in Christ. We do change when we come to the knowledge of the saving grace of Christ, but we are being perfected in Christ all the time it is a process. If everybody waited till they were perfect to surrender to the Lord and Savior, then there would been no need for Christ to go to the cross,we can not perfect ourselves. I believe we have great faith for the scriptures Say's "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". We believe that there is a God, that Christ died for our sins and we hope that all come to this knowledge. We know because we know and most are truly willing to die for their faith! Sorry but the fact that we never got to physically walk with Christ or to physically touch him in the way that the disciples did is faith in it's self. Just the fact that we believe is faith. Try it, it only takes the faith of the size of a mustard seed!

Anthony is right. A true christian is not weak in the faith.
We're all human, and do make mistakes, but we get up and continue......We dont just sit there and cry about it (which would be "weak" from our part). A good soldier of God fights a good fight!

Because we are still human beings subject to the same temptations as we always have been. the difference is, as Christians we have the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to remove from us the burdens and ultimate death and punishment of our sin. Also, one who is a christian has had a change in his/her life that will allow them to see the dangers of temptation, and avoid them. Just because your a Christian doesn't mean your perfect.

too many temptations. The biggest temptation today though is to cave in to the pressure of "Not hurting man's feelings" (the peace of cowardice) but, trading this for insulting the Almighty God by mocking his word against homosexuality, unlawful marriage, euthanasia, abortion, etc.
