If you've ever owned a pomeranian, or know alot about small dogs, i've got question:
what do pomeranians usually weigh at 14-15 weeks age? just an estimate, i know its not a set weight when they're young, but i'm curious as to how big is he for his age. Is he almost at his full wieght at 16 weeks? It's been bugging me, i'm not arguing his size, just wondering if it's normal or is he going to be a larger pom. :)

info:
My pomeranian puppy is about 14-15 weeks old now, and he ways at least 3.9 pounds as of last week(at the vet clinic).
two weeks before that, he weighed 3 pounds. he's healthy, not skinny, and will be having his last set of puppy shots in march(16 weeks).

My Pom is 6 years old. He weighs about 8 lbs and the vet says that he is just right based on his height/length/etc.

Pomeranians are a purebred breed, so the weight will not fluctuate much (in full grown size, which you are pretty close to at 4 months). They weigh between 3-7 lbs. If your does not have papers, it might be a mixed breed?

let me answer this way, it won't matter. i am a pom owner and i have never seen any other dog like pom's. this dog will or already owns your heart. i can't say enough about this breed. they are clean, smart and they are all about love. yes your pom is not going to be small, he will be med. sized. it won't matter. if people ask... tell them no he's not a small pom but he's all pom. and you'll know he is because their are no other breeds like them. get ready for lots of love. my pom's sleep on our bed, they have full run of the house and we have never put them in a cage. we have two, I'd like more. good luck with all the love.

You shouldn't really worry about how heavy he'll be when older as dogs, like people, are all different You just need to make sure he isn't fat. As long as he is fit and healthy then don't worry about his size. I have a mini poodle who weighs in at 5.9 kilos at 4 years old yet my 8 mth male is 8.1 kilos! Every dog is different and they'll be as big (or small) as they are!
