I have struggled with my weight for a very long time and I have finally found something that works for me. I went on a vegan diet. Weight started coming off in the first week. With in 3 weeks I had lost 20 pounds with out even exercising. This diet is not as hard as what some people think. It is a lot of research, but after a while it becomes very simple.

It is not easy to lose weight fast and then keep it off. The best thing you can do is to eat 8 healthy mini meals each day. You should also do lots of cardio and work out with weights at least 3 times a week. It is much easier to lose weight slowly and be able to keep it off.

Im trying to do the same thing! Here is what I'm trying to do:
1. Cut my portions in half
2. Cut out all soda and fast food
3. Lower bread intake
4. Run 5 miles a week (more if i can)
5. Weights 3 days a week

And I just recently joined a free site called sparkpeople.com. Its really cool and very motivational. They have great healthy snack and recipe ideas. Hope this helps

We all have been programmed to eat more than we need..Eat off of a small salad plate..eat 3 meals a day and 2 fruit snacks.Smaller portions will still fill you up ..also drink a 4 to 6 ounce glass of water before you eat and the same amount of water after you eat. You won't believe how full you feel and you will be losing weight..If you can, walk at least one mile a day, every day.
