Well there are ways of telling him if you love him. You can tell him over romantic dinner or after nice movie that this kind of behaviour hurts you or you need some space or the relation builts on trust and more you trust your partner, the more stronger and beautiful the relation will be.
If you don't love him well dump him what are you waiting for!

Girl I have been there and done that, it is a red flag and only will get worse I am warning you. His personality has to change and most likely he won't change until something drastic happens or he matures. I've been beaten before for something small I had to go and to be truthful were together for 3 years I left him for 6 months and he wants me to stay but he hasn't changed and had nerve to hit me in the eye again because "I wasn't giving him my undivided attention, I disagreed with him" Leave girl...he Crazy

You need to figure out if this guy is abusing you. How angry does he get? Does he curse at you, make you feel worthless? More than that, does he physically harm you or other people? If so, you don't need to control him, you need to get rid of him.
If you confront him and let him know that you ARENT looking at the other guys romantically, that they are simply friends, and he needs to calm down over it, then hopefully he will back off a little bit. If he refuses to back down, it may be time to let go of him.

Sit down, and just tell him how you feel, but don't expect to change him. Possessive men, end up controlling their women. If you don't want that kind of relationship, get out of it now. The longer you wait, the worse it will be.

My advice is best left to 2 words:
Dump Him!!!
I had an over posessive boyfriend in college and he just made my life miserable. I never cheated on him but he just couldn't believe me. If there is no trust then there is no love.

You cant change him. He is that type. If you don't like it, then move on to another guy. The possessive ones are trouble anyway. You will end up with no friends, and no life. Do yourself a favor, and do what your instinct tell you.

Sweetie, just don't tell him....show him.....end the relationship, he will not change his possessive ways and his anger will be something you live with on a daily basis. Do yourself a BIG well deserved favor and end it. You will become a prisoner in life if you allow him.

Get rid of him. It's that simple. He's not going to change and you could get hurt. Find someone who is a lot more mature, intelligent and in much better control of their emotions.

Get rid of him.
He needs help.
BEFORE he dates again.
Not to say that he's the worst thing ever; I', sure that he is just as human as the rest of us.
Just, he's gotta take responsibility for this, not you.
You trying to control him controlling you is a disaster waiting to happen.
