We been together for over three years and we're sorta taking a break but he says we'll get back together soon. How do I know when to move on and when to hold on? because i love him more than anything but what do i do?

dont wait for him he is playin wit ur feelings jus let him kno to accept u or leave u alone u dont have time to waste on him and then if he doesnt care move on

I'll share a 'quote of the day'--"Being strong is not trying to hold on, but being able to let go."--Author Unknown. But....what the heck is he doing in the 'meanwhile' since he wants his space? If he's exploring what other girls he may be interested in, I hope you pick up on the signals and save yourself before he makes his formal announcement. This may be a matter of how much time you're willing to give him. It doesn't seem like it's a mutual decision or desire to remain apart. You may love this guy, but if he doesn't have the same affection in his heart it really doesn't matter. I'm not sure I'd be so cool with a guy telling me that we'd get back together soon.....

Try as much as possible to control your feelings from him because I don't think he love you. I cannot imagine that the two of you are in love then you broke up and then he is saying that you will get back soon. What is he waiting for. He is just trying to make a fool of you and if you continue to wait for him, he might end up breaking your heart.

Try to get over him so if he does let you down your a little prepared. just know that there is someone out there for you that loves you even if it is some other guy. Keep holding on until you feel like he wants something new and just know in your gut you will know when to let go if you ever have to. Also if someone loves you they will stick it through.

if he says he will be back than he probably will be back. depends on how long u have been split up, and if he is still calling u and u are still seeing one another. do u think he may be seeing someone else? sometimes happens when they ask for a split and sometimes they want to keep the door open while exploring other options. just depends if he is still calling u and u are still having conversations.if not i would not hold my breath and wait on him, as promises are just words, i would base my decision on to stay or go by his actions.
