That will probably always be true--that other people will be interested in pursuing a relationship with you even though you prefer to remain single. Heck, if it wasn't there would be no 'never married males' middle aged and beyond. That's why you have the opportunity to make your own choices. So, my answer to you is so what? It doesn't matter what others prefer--it's your choice. No action is called for on your part, no need to make any big announcements in this regard, just always reject their invites (politely of course, b/c you have other plans), and do whatever you like. Good Luck (and good for you)

If you are sure about staying single, then stick to your guns! If you meet someone who makes you want to change your decision, then cool! Until then, just live your life and tell any interested men that you are single by choice!

Your decision to "stay single" doesn't necessarily mean that you can't enjoy the company of the opposite sex.
As long as you are clear from the beginning, I see no reason why you can't socialize with others.

Stick with what you think is the best for yourself!
In your case I think is your choice to stay alone for a period.
Which is good for a while. It helps a lot
Unless... you are having second thoughts (cause of someone you really like)???

Stick to your guns and stay single..but i wouldn't isolate yourself completely..you never know when that special someone might come along..just take things slow and don't invest too much of yourself emotionally

Politely and firmly tell them you are not interested and don't waiver. That will give mixed signals.
