Is it a 2.0ltr? if it has the SR20DE engine its got great performace at 150bhp standard - Chain driven cam - last forever very very strong !
What engine has it got? whats the engine model name? And i can give you a better answer

Hi there,
There are so many engine variants fitted to the P12 Primera and by far the yd22 engine is the best if looked after, however there are so many problems that are linked with high pressure diesel and the P12 suffers most of them!!
If thinking of buying a P12 Primera make sure all the recalls have been carried out and serviced following the set down intervals.
