These sound like stress headaches. The only sure fire way to stop them, would of course, be to de-stress. Easier said than done, I know.
The way I treat my headaches is to drink more water when they start, take a couple of Aleeve if necessary, drink some coffee, as caffeine helps, and I take Tiger's Balm and rub it into the occipital area of my scull, and on my forehead. You don't need much. Gently massage it into the skin, pressing gently to loosen up the tight muscles that are involved with the headache as well.
If possible, lay down for a few minutes in a darkened room, or one that does not have bright light.
I believe you will find these suggestions help enormously. You don't need to do them all at the same time. Depending on how bad the headache is, you will know what works for you.
Good luck to you, and good health.

I experience headaches quite a bit and don't like always taking OTC drugs, so I've been trying some natural means. I've been using an ice pack on where my headache is. It seems to really help more than anything else and I have tried lots of things.
I suggest going to a chiropractor, the one I go to has helped me many times with my headaches. You need to find out why you are having headaches and that means going to a doctor or chiropractor. Go to the link below, I asked a question recently about this and got some good answers.

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.
Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.
The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).
For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

Initially a gentle massage around the temples will alleviate the pressure, failing that, locate the "dip" at the base of your skull and with your thumb, gently but firmly push the thumb up into the "dip" (modular oblongata), and with a little pressure rotate the thumb into and upwards of the dip, then with you first 2 fingers gently but firmly rotate and walk the fingers to the first vertebrae at the top of the spine and back again. Do this several times and stop. You should feel a lot of the tension go. The reason for this is because of the exercise you have just completed, oxygen is generated into the brain and all major organs in the body, thus helping you to relax. good luck.

I have been getting them for years. My doctor has given me Imitrex to stop them once I get them, and it usually works within a half an hour. However, to keep from getting them in the first place, he put me on Topomax. I was on it for several months and it worked GREAT! Then my hair started falling out. Now my hair is staying attached, but my headaches are back. Another script we tried before that was Inderall. I don't remember why I stopped taking that one. An easy OTC med is Aleve. Make sure your doc approves, but probably Aleve once a day would help. (Any kind of Naproxen Sodium.)
I have a headache right now. I took an Excedrin, even though I'm not supposed to take it because of other drug interactions. I'm only allowed to take Tylenol, but I might as well just have an M&M! Excedrin Migraine is helping with mine right now!
Good luck!

Yea I was going to tell you to make sure that you are drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water a day. (Like if you wiegh 150 then you would need to be drinking 75oz. which is between 9 and 10 eight oz glasses of water) I get headaches really bad when I am dehydrated, and if you are drinking soda or coffee throughout the day, you need to drink more water on top of that. I try to stay away from pop, but when I do drink it I have 2, 8oz glass of water per 12oz of pop. Remember your brain needs LOTS of fluid to work properly! That's why people get headaches and hangovers after a night of drinking. It dehydrates them, and the reason there head hurts is because there brain is not wet so it is shrinking up and trying to pull itself free. Okay that sounds gross, but it's true. Hope you decide to drink more water!

try "4head" . you can get it any chemist (it costs between 5 and 6 quid but its worth the expense as you wont be buying endless paracetamol)and you just rub it all over your forehead and within about 10 minutes your headache is gone.
it saves having to take tablets and it works fast.i have been using it for two years and i suffer from migriane and it will work if you use it early on.
if your headaches persist you may need a sight test as not wearing the right glasses or if your sight has changed and you need to wear glasses then you can get frequent headaches as a result.
if not you could always ask your doctor.
god luck.

Hold your palm out with the thumb away from the fingers, so that your thumb makes the base of an L shape. With your other thumb and index finger, lightly squeeze in the L area until you find a tender spot. Apply pressure to the tender spot for about 15 seconds, release, apply, release. Now do it with the other hand. You will find a tender spot when you have a headache, but not when you don't. Also, with the pads of your fingers, you can "scratch" vigorously along the base of your head, at the neck, right in the center.

The cure is to worry less and live in the moment. Don't think about later on, or tomorrow, just stay in this moment as much as you can and enjoy it.
You will need to work at it, but it gets simpler with time.
It will do you bigger favours long term too, as worry releases cortisol into the blood which in too high a dose is unhealthy, so think of ways to lighten up and just let things happen.
(They happen anyway whether you worry or not, so might as well 'not'.)
Otherwise Solpadeine are very good, but addictive so be careful.
