It's very sad isn't it?
To have the truth available and they are blinded. They have eyes yet do not see.
Pray for them.

It is only seen as evil by those that refuse to find out what it is all about. The Church tells them it is evil and that is good enough for them. Of course, this is the same church that tortured, killed, or otherwise harmed others even though their own rules forbid such behavior. Wicca is about helping Nature and healing Mother Earth from what the Christian establishment has done. The Church doesn't like it because it is also about self-empowerment and acceptance, which they feel is dangerous.

Not sure why you would think that Witch Craft is evil - I think (no offence meant) it could possibly stem from little knowledge about the subject. I wouldn't say that harvesting herbs to make simple cures is evil or that meditating on aspects of nature is evil.

I am not a fan of witch craft...but 'such things' is a bit broad.
What are you talking about specifically?

the simple answer, this only being my opinion(u must be refering to wicca), is that it is not evil and is more about getting close to nature and such, and there is more to that religion than there is on say christianity( based on incest )
read up about other religions like wicca and buddhism before making such assumptions as this

wich craft is not really evil in the true form. Its understanding nature and the world around you. Most countries in the past had women who were 'witchs' to make sure they stayed in power and that what they were doing was right

I totally agree, it's evil to waste so much time chanting nonsensical prayers and believing in all that ridiculous 'god' nonsense. Much better to curl up with a cup of tea, a biscuit and a good David Attenborough DVD. Or read a bit of philosophy and get your brain working.

Define evil, if you mean something that you don't agree with then might I remind you that YOUR saviour said let he who is without sin throw the first stone , and judge not lest you be judged. He also said in my fathers house there are many rooms.
why not let your god decide who has the rights of their worship and stop trying to foist your judean morality on the world. Some of us are open minded enough to allow that things that we don't agree with mightstill be acceptable to the Goddess which is why we don't name your faith evil despite its history of presecuting the innocent

some people believe in it, some people don't..
likewise, certain religions are thought to be 'evil' and such..
it's up to an individual's perception..
As long our conscience is clear and what we do is right and for the benefit of mankind, why not..?

Perhaps you don't understand what they are actually doing when they call it witch craft. I wouldn't judge without being fully informed about the subject you are judging on.
I am Christian by the way, but not inclined to judge people without the full facts.

Witchcraft stems from the word Wicca or wise it is/was a Pagan religion and has nothing to do with Witchcraft as portrayed in films. The Pagan religion was condemned by the Church as witchcraft to protect themselves.. Christmas< Easter are all originally Pagan festivals but were hi-jacked by the Christian Church.
